Dive courses

Scuba Iceland offers many kinds of PADI courses. Learn how to dive in a stunning location in Iceland and receive your PADI certificate.

PADI Open Water Diver

The adventure begins here, with the most popular diving course in the world, where you’ll learn real skills for diving. It’s the first level of PADI scuba certification an includes the basics of enjoyable, safe diving taught through academic training and confined and open water practice sessions, all under the guidance of a PADI Instructor.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Here’s your chance to sample some of diving’s most popular specialties and expand your diving skills. The program’s core dives are underwater navigation and deep diving. Additional elective dives might include boat diving, underwater photography, wreck diving, or other specialty activities. PADI Advanced Open Water certification requires fives dives and may take as little time as one weekend.

PADI Rescue Diver

The PADI Rescue Diver course makes the serious subject of accident prevention and management enjoyable and rewarding. It takes your focus beyond yourself and your buddy to make diving safer for others as you learn to recognize and prevent potential diving accidents and how to handle them if they occur.

PADI Master Scuba Diver

When you complete the PADI Advanced Diver and Rescue Diver and any five specialty courses, you are eligible to earn a PADI Master Scuba Diver rating. This prestigious rating is the highest non-professional credential in recreational diving.

PADI Dive Master

If your love of diving interests you in a full- or part-time dive career, this is your first step on the professional path. Divemaster training develops your diving leadership abilities by expanding you knowledge to a professional level, and by training you supervise diving activities and assist with divers in training.

Amazing experience. Small group size. Memorable.
In comparison to the groups from the other company with had over 15 people per group, I was very glad I went with Scuba Iceland. The more personal attention and smaller ratio helped with the experience.
