Snorkeling in Silfra fissure is a great way to start your day. The fresh water has a remarkable visibility due to its clarity.

The Golden Circle is “must see” during your visit in Iceland and by combining these two fantastic activities you get great value for your money. The Golden Circle consists of three main sites: Thingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss Waterfall. Thingvellir is a UNESCO World Heritage site, Geysir is considered the original spouting hotspring and last but not least the Gullfoss Waterfall where Hvítá river rushes forward to make for one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland.

We have a maximum group size of 12 for this tour.

Minimum age: 12 (guardian´s approval needed for minors under 18)

You need to know how to swim, and be comfortable spending up t0 40 minutes in the water.

There is a slight current in Silfra and you must be comfortable swimming against this slight current when needed.

Are you pregnant? Due to the small risk of cold glacial water entering the dry suit, we unfortunately can not allow you to participate in this tour. It is not worth taking the risk.

Please bring:
A set of long underwear and warm socks, preferable in wool or fleece. A spare set of clothes for can also be nice to bring for after the snorkelling, as it can happen that you baselayer gets a bit damp in the water.

Kindly note that you will not be able to wear glasses under the snorkling mask, but contact lenses are okay.

We pick you up from your hotel and drive first to the renowned Silfra Fissure. Silfra is located in Thingvellir National Park, which is one of the stops on the famous Golden circle route.

After the Snorkeling we enjoy the National Park – its impressive geology and history.

Next on the agenda is the Geysir geothermal area in Haukadalur valley where the hot spring Strokkur spouts every 5 -8 minutes.

Last, but not least of our stops today is the mighty Gullfoss waterfall – attracting thousands of visitors from all over the world every year.
